Sandhamns Museum
Sandhamn’s own small archipelago museum, called Australia, is located next to the cultural heritage-marked Customs House. The museum was founded by some enthusiasts at Sandhamn as early as 1966.

The small red house with the belfry outside is an old village house from the first part of the 18th century. Inside you will find lots of exciting objects that tell about life on the island over the past centuries. Often a pretty hard life on a barren island, at the far end of the sea.

The museum is open daily in summer.
